Ode to the Aluu Four

The rapid flickers of a youtube page
Brought forth projections of horrid animalism
My eyes bled in utter unbelief
As I watched the true nature of mankind
Men in inhumanity to fellow men
Beating out the souls of errant kin
Oh I saw and it was true though I prayed not
That man is but a beast within
chained by the invincible walls of a stretched justice system
I saw these beasts unleashed
for no reason but to satisfy a protracted thirst for similar blood
Shrieking in wild ape-like ecstasy
Aluu men drank from the spilled blood of lonely scape goats
Four young men cut down for a crime of youthful ignorance
Put to sword and fire for petty robbery
While political cretins grow obese on the booty from inked robbery
If cold blooded murder of unarmed deviants be a norm
Then man is but un-evolved and still in the Darwinian class of wild underlings
Beasts for which morality is drowned in the overwhelming compulsion of reptilian instincts
Call ye not yourselves superior
Call ye not yourselves civil
For we all are but monstrous murderers
No different from blood thirsty carnivores
We are not men for we are demons
We are not men for we are untamed
We are not men for we are but lost..we are all damned

Pilgrim's Road (spoken Word Poetry)

On I walk a lonely pilgrim Through life's road dark and cold Been on this long journey a while Since I woke from an unknown slumber On a quest for what I do not know I search with compulsive imperative Through murky and misty quagmires I meet the good, bad and deadly Where it leads I can not say Through many turns I lost my north I once was a young man when I walked Now the dust of age cover my skin I saw vanity come my way Yesterday when I took a queer turn Today I saw the stain of sin On my cloak when I sat to rest Call me lost if you know the way Through this gruesome wilderness Point the lonely finger down the road Where four points collide to confuse me For on I must persevere to proceed As my bones despair in a single place The road keeps me from the pits of insanity The road is all that I live for The pilgrim road where my mortal existence finds along a convoluted and paradoxical definition If they ask where I am someday Tell them I am still on

Rising sun
